Todd, a native of Mountain Home, Arkansas graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1988 and from Southwest Missouri State in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Upon graduating, he worked in his family's drywall contracting and residential home building business. He obtained his insurance license in 2000 and worked for a local independent insurance agency before founding his own agency, Todd Gilbert Insurance, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, in 2008. In 2018, his son Buck became part of the agency, continuing the family legacy into the next generation.
Todd and his wife, Jodi, have four boys—Jake, Buck, Wyatt, and Rhett—and five beautiful grandchildren. A member of First Baptist Church of Mountain Home since 1994, Todd has dedicated the last 24 years to coaching youth baseball and basketball. He served as president of the Mountain Home Youth Baseball League and was one of the founding members of the Top Flight Youth Basketball Program.
In his leisure time, Todd enjoys surfing on the lake and fishing on the rivers with his family. Both he and Jodi are passionate supporters of several local non-profit organizations, including Baxter Health, Hospice of the Ozarks, Baxter County Library, Food Bank of NCA, Serenity, Mountain Home Athletics, and Top Flight Youth Basketball.
